Fifty years after the music died

It was 50 years ago today that a small plane crashed near Clear Lake, Iowa, taking the lives of rock ’n’ rollers Buddy Holly, Richie Valens and the Big Bopper (J.P. Richardson). Holly was 22 years old, Valens was 17 and the Big Bopper was
